This has been quite a year. A year of loss and gain. A year of pausing and reflecting. A year of uncertainty and resilience.
Join Izzy Martens on December 27 for a 90 minute virtual yoga & reflection workshop dedicated to honoring the year we leave behind, letting go of the things we do not wish to carry forward, and setting intentions for ourselves as we look ahead.
What to expect:
This virtual workshop will be structured to weave together yoga & breath, with time for writing & drawing. You will be led through the workshop just as you would in a yoga class. The movements will begin gentle, then build in heat and intensity, before slowing down to delicious restorative poses. What's special about this workshop is throughout class you'll be led through thoughtful prompts and you'll have the opportunity to pause, sit, and write or draw about what is coming up for you. We will end class with an intention setting ceremony, preparing us for the new year.
What to bring:
Yourself, your yoga mat, a journal and pens to write or draw with! It might also be nice to make your space feel cozy by setting up blankets and pillows near you, choosing dim lighting and surrounding yourself with candles or incense. Create an atmosphere that is special to you! This workshop will be hosted on Zoom, so be sure to have a Zoom account and computer to join on.
