Meet Sydney and Izzy

Sydney Clemens
Sydney Clemens (she/her) is a senior yoga teacher based in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Known for creating inclusive, nourishing, and inspired classes, she is the Yoga Coordinator for Wild Rice Retreat Center. Sydney teaches in local studios, leads yoga teacher trainings, works with middle and high school students, and leads international retreats.
Sydney specializes in vinyasa, Yin, restorative, and sahaja practices. Her work gathers inspiration from vinyasa, Hatha, intuitive movement, and somatic practices that invite students to listen inward and move with intention.
Beyond yoga, Sydney studies and shares practices rooted in menstrual health and cyclical wisdom, helping others reconnect with the innate intelligence of their bodies.
She lives along the south shore of Lake Superior, where she finds daily inspiration in cold swims, forest hikes, and quiet time by the water.
Sydney’s teaching is guided by one clear intention: to help students come home to themselves.
Her classes offer a safe, supportive container to explore your inner world with curiosity and care.

Izzy Martens
Izzy Martens (she/her) is a senior yoga teacher based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Izzy blends the dynamic traditions of Vinyasa, Rocket, and Power yoga with mindfulness, storytelling, and an unwavering delight for the practice.
Izzy is the creator of Yoga Humans, an online community and home to her bestselling Substack, What I Taught in Yoga This Week—a resource dedicated to supporting and inspiring new yoga teachers. She holds a 200-hour RYT certification through Yoga Alliance and has completed additional 50-hour trainings in both yoga anatomy and Rocket yoga.
A Colorado native and graduate of Colorado State University, Izzy previously worked in leadership development and is a certified executive facilitator through Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership. She is the co-author of Holding Space: A Guide to Mindful Facilitation. Izzy is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing at CSU.
Izzy knows that yoga has the power to transform a life. She's deeply honored to help guide others on this path.
